Description

Papers on mathematical topics. These works were either sent to the Royal Society, usually by their authors or by intermediaries, for reading at ordinary meetings of the Royal Society. Material might be commissioned by the Royal Society, or collected by other means.

The volume has a manuscript listing bound into the front of the book, by Arthur Hugh Church. This notes the paper number (1-49), author, title/subject, with some details of pagination, if published in Philosophical Transactions and illustrative content. There is an additional inserted loose sheet with a draft list of contents (listed 1-55).
