Description

Webb describes his process of completing a geographical survey of the province of Kumaon [Uttarakhand, India], discussing the methods of measurement that proved the most and the least effective. Includes tables of measurements of latitudes, longitudes, and elevations of specific locations and villages.

A manuscript note in graphite on first page reads 'Not in Proc [Proceedings]'. Corrections and deletions appear throughout in ink and graphite.
