Description

Letter from Maskelyne regarding Wildbore's expanded paper on spherical motion (see AP/7/16 for original version of manuscript), providing his final comments on the manuscript. He states that he agrees with Wildbore's calculations of rotatory motion and asserts that [John] Landen's method is wrong. At the bottom of the letter are notes relating to a comet [likely Comet C/1790 H1] observed at 10pm on 10 June 1790.
