Unpublished paper, 'Observations on the different nature of motive and accelerative forces' in a letter from Cha [Charles] Wildbore to SIr Joseph Banks
Reference number: AP/7/32
Date: 13 May 1790
Description
Paper by Wildbore describing the difference between motive force and accelerative force. The paper is followed by a short letter on the same page from Wildbore to Banks, in which he states that he had received no word regarding his expanded paper on spherical motion, and wonders if the delay is because [John] Landen was expected to publish on the same subject. Wildbore explains that this paper on forces was intended for only interested Fellows, not the public,
Subject: Physics / Mathematics
Written by Wildbore in Broughton [Upper Broughton, Nottinghamshire, England] and addressed to Banks in Soho Square, London.
