Description

Letter from Maskelyne regarding Wildbore's paper on spherical motion (see AP/7/16), requesting that Banks not forward his comments to Wildbore until he had a chance to meet him in person. He requests that Banks bring the comments to the 'club', where Maskelyne wished to modify a 'strong expression' in the interest of 'civility or delicacy' toward Wildbore. The expression was 'long exploded'.
