Description

Second letter written on the same day as AP/7/17 from Maskelyne regarding Wildbore's paper on spherical motion (see AP/7/16). Maskelyne states that after reflection, he believes he understands what Wildbore's terminology meant, and he asks Banks not to ask for Wildbore's clarifications. He states that he will continue to attempt to understand Wildbore's reasoning and offer his opinion at a later date.
