Description

Mallock writes: 'Although the general idea presented to the mind by the title of this note will be that of some mechanical device for copying form in two or three dimensions, such for instance as a pantagraph or copying lathe, many other classes of machinery properly fall under the same head.'

Annotations in ink throughout. Marked on front as 'Ordered by Committee of Papers to be archived 11 December 1913.' Includes one page of diagrams of the machine.
