Description

The asymmetrical probability curve is the second approximation — the symmetrical probability curve being the first approximation — to the law of frequency which governs the set of values assumed by a function of numerous independently fluctuating small quantities.

Whilst the Royal Society declined to publish this paper in full, an abstract of the paper was published in volume 56 of the Proceedings of the Royal Society as 'The asymmetrical probability curve'.
