Description
Hardy writes: 'About two years ago, at the suggestion of Dr W H [Walter Holbrook] Gaskell, F R S, I undertook the examination of the minute anatomy of the nervous system of the Crustacea. Certain of the results of the investigation are incorporated in the following paper. The nervous systems of Branchippus, of Astacus, and of the Zooea larva have been examined'.
Annotations in pencil and ink throughout. Note on front reads 'This is the original unrevised copy. To be preserved in the archives.' and 'Revised version published in Phil Trans 1894'.
