Description

Jessop shares observations on a series of experiments conducted on anaesthetised rabbits, dogs and cats. He presents his research in three parts: Anatomy and histology; physiology; and the action of cocaine, atropine and eserine, both singularly and in combination.

Whilst the Royal Society declined to publish this paper in full, an abstract of the paper was published in volume 40 of the Proceedings of the Royal Society as 'On the anatomy, histology, and physiology of the intra-ocular muscles of mammals'.
