Haughton writes on the climate and mean monthly temperatures of locations including the Parry Islands [Queen Elizabeth Islands, Canada], New Orleans [USA], Melville Island [Canada], Spitzbergen [Spitsbergen, Norway] and Alaska in the Jurassic period, Triassic period and contemporary era.

Annotations in pencil and ink throughout. Marked on front as 'Proceedings XXVII'.
