Description

Contains nine papers submitted to the Royal Society, many of which were either not published at the time of receipt, or published in the Proceedings of the Royal Society. The papers are arranged alphabetically by author and cover the period of 1870-1871 [spine reads 1871]. Includes an index at the beginning of the volume. Includes manuscript for the 1871 Bakerian Lecture delivered by Charles William Siemens.
