Description

Six tables of magnetic observations taken by Rokeby at Ascension Island between July 1863 and March 1866.

Note on front reads 'Tables kept for reference'.

Received 11 March 1869. Communicated by Balfour Stewart.

Whilst the Royal Society declined to publish this paper in full, an abstract of the paper was published in volume 17 of the Proceedings of the Royal Society as 'Results of magnetical observations made at ascension Island, latitude 7° 55' 20" south, longitude 14° 25' 30" west, from July 1863 to March 1866'.
