Description

Rennoldson shares one page of illustrations of an eclipse in coloured ink, as seen from on board the S S Rangoon. Note on front reads 'Part of Lt [John] Herschel's paper not printed in Proceedings 1868'. Most likely relates to paper published by Herschel in volume 7 of the Proceedings of the Royal Society as 'Account of the Solar Eclipse of 1868, as Seen at Jamkandi in the Bombay Presidency'.
