Description

A detailed examination of the fauna and flora exhibits results remarkably in accordance with the views expressed by [Philip Lutley] Sclater and Günther on the geographical distribution of species. Tristram also discusses the geology of the region.

Annotations in pencil throughout. Marked on front as 'Archives July 2/68'.

Whilst the Royal Society declined to publish this paper in full, an abstract of the paper was published in volume 16 of the Proceedings of the Royal Society as 'On the geographical and geological relations of the fauna and flora of Palestine'.
