Hall continues with his earlier research (see AP/29/5), this time writing on the electrogenic condition of the spinal marrow and of the incident spinal nerves. He shares details of experiments on a frog.

Followed by three pages of figures showing experiments on frogs' legs. Annotations in pencil throughout.

Whilst the Royal Society declined to publish this paper in full, an abstract of the paper was published in volume 5 of Abstracts of the Papers Printed in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London [later Proceedings of the Royal Society] as 'Researches into the effects of certain physical and chemical agents on the nervous system'.
