Reference number: AP/24/7

Date: 22 October 1840

Description

Goodman shares two papers on the galvanic, frictional and magnetic electricities, presenting his observations on the experiments of Dr [William Hyde] Wollaston and Dr [Michael] Faraday. In the second paper he writes on imitating the electrochemical actions of the galvanic fluid by ordinary electricity, sharing details of his own experiments.

Includes one figure in the text. Annotations in ink throughout.
