Description

Argentati describes an apparatus consisting of an axis suspended in the air, at the intersection of two planes, one horizontal and the other vertical, with wings or fans fixed around the point of the axis. He goes on to describe the function of the machine.

Includes one colour diagram in the text showing Argentati's apparatus. Preceded by a covering letter.
