Description

Thomson provides descriptions and physical and chemical analyses of recently discovered trap rocks and minerals that appear particularly in northeastern Ireland and the central belt of Scotland, but that have also appeared elsewhere in Great Britain and North America.

Peter Mark Roget's initials appear next to the date received. Corrections, deletions, and additions appear throughout in ink.
