Description

Granville writes of two chlorine-based disinfectants, liquid chlorine and crystallised carbonate of soda mixed with chlorine gas, and conducts experiments to discover their effect on dead bodies, including halting the decomposition process.

A graphite inscription below title reads 'Archives 1827 unpub'.
