Description
Lambe attempts to ascertain through experimentation the limits of the pulse by considering the power expended by the heart before the motion of the blood within the body becomes uniform.
On verso of covering page is a short commentary in graphite by Thomas Young on the contents of Lambe's paper. Annotations and corrections appear throughout in graphite and ink.
