Description

Redhead describes a specimen of native iron [telluric iron] found at the foot of a mountain in the Atacama region of Peru. He reports that Peruvians suspected that the iron was formed through explosions in mines. Preceded by a covering letter from Woodbine Parish to Sir Samuel Young.
