Description

This letter is a covering letter for five essays (not included) written in German and Swedish and printed in 1823, referring to Berzelius' research on the chemistry of Carlsbad [Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic] hot springs, the combination of acetic acid and oxide of copper, a mineral composed of chloride and lead, oxides of uranium, and fluoric acid. Berzelius summarises the contents of each of the essays. Followed by an English translation of the letter.
