Description

Letter received by the Royal Society as a result of a statement, titled 'A Curious Fact' (see AP/10 for description). Hobson explains that he had seen the problem posed by the Society printed in 'provincial papers' and he had previously solved this problem through experimentation. He requests instructions for submitting his response to the Society.

Subject: Physics

Erroneously addressed to the President of the Royal Society of Arts and postmarked 9 October 1833. Hobson requests a response be sent to 29 Hardwicke Street, Dublin [Ireland].
