Description

Letter received by the Royal Society as a result of a statement, titled 'A Curious Fact' (see AP/10 for description). Huson taped a cutting of the problem as printed in the Sheffield Mercury to the letter, and asks forgiveness for sending his letter if the notice of the reward printed in the newspaper is not accurate. He relates the effect observed on the cards to the upward and downward pressure of the atmosphere.
