Description

Letter received by the Royal Society as a result of a statement, titled 'A Curious Fact' (see AP/10 for description). Abbot offers a solution to the problem, first quoting the statement as he saw it in an American newspaper. He then explains that atmospheric pressure is disrupted in different ways on the top and the bottom of the card when blown upon.
