Covering letter for Gompertz's comments (AP/10/24) on John Walsh's recent mathematical work, stating that he hopes his comments will be satisfactory both to Walsh and to Gilbert. He also states that he is enclosing the 'former papers' which, if sent to Walsh, should be returned to the Royal Society.
