Description

Walsh corrects the formula in the last examples from his paper titled 'Memoir on the development of functions', recently sent to the Royal Society (AP/10/16). He writes that if the Society is pleased with his memoir, he will write two further memoirs, one on the theory of osculation and the other on the theory of maxima and minima.
