Includes letter from Wm [William] Allen Miller at King's College London to Col [William Henry] Sykes, published as part of paper in section titled 'Dr Miller's analysis of air collected in the ascents'. The letter is dated 5 May 1853. Also includes several fold-out tables of meteorological data.
