Description
Unbound manuscript versions of papers published by the Royal Society in volume 100 of 'Philosophical Transactions' in 1810. Also includes a manuscript for Humphry Davy's Bakerian Lecture for 1810, published in the 1811 volume of Philosophical Transactions.
Includes some original illustrations and figures in various media (drawings, watercolours) in support of the papers.
Missing from this volume are the manuscripts for the following papers published in the 1810 volume of Philosophical Transactions:
'The Croonian Lecture' by William Hyde Wollaston (found in PT/5);
'Observations on the effects of magnesia, in preventing an increased formation of uric acid; with some remarks on the composition of the urine' by William Thomas Brande;
'Observations and experiments on pus' by George Pearson.
